Two students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Bhopal, India were honoured by the regional level of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for their outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable development. The main theme of the exhibition was science and technology for sustainable development.

Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools are the largest chain of privately owned public schools in India, with over 80,000 students from 118 cities. These schools offer Maharishi Vedic Science-Based integrated system of ideal education.

Pallavi Chandel and Priyanka Rajput exhibited impressive creativity and outstanding intelligence in this esteemed competition. They won great recognition and have been selected to participate in the CBSE Science Exhibition at the national level to be held in Delhi in September.

Ms Chandel and Ms Rajput presented a project on the use of an eco-friendly innovation that may help increase industrial production.

This project was guided by science teacher Shubhangi Nimade and Pooja Kanitkar. Dr Meenakshi Bannerjee and Dr Vinay Shrivastava from Barkatullah University Department of Bio-technology also gave their special cooperation and guidance.
