Native Americans enthusiastically respond to Maharishi's Vedic Knowledge

Recently returned from a visit to Brazil with Dr David Lynch and singer-songwriter Donovan Leitch, and also from a trip to a Native American tribe in Nebraska, Dr Roth, National Director of Expansion for the Global Country of World Peace in the United States, reported on 26 August Maharishi Global Family Chat about the Native American response to Maharishi's Vedic Knowledge.

Dr Roth said that every day in America 'there seems to be another miracle happening, a new awakening', due to the rise of coherence in collective consciousness of nearly 2,000 Yogic Flyers in Iowa—the Maharishi Vedic Pandits in Maharishi Vedic City and the Yogic Flyers on the Invincible America Assembly at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield.

Dr Roth reported that he and a group of others—Dr Ken Walton, professor of biochemistry and Dr Carolyn King, professor of psychology, at Maharishi University of Management, along with Dr Chris Busch, Director of Programs for the David Lynch Foundation—had just returned from an extraordinary visit to an American Indian reservation in Nebraska. Several years ago members of this tribe came to Fairfield for the David Lynch Weekend, and there are now 250 school students practising the Transcendental Meditation Technique at their school.

When the tribal members came to Fairfield, they met with Dr Bevan Morris, President of Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.), Raja Robert Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City and Raja of New Zealand, and other M.U.M. professors. They presented Dr David Lynch with a peace blanket out of gratitude for what he had done in supporting the Transcendental Meditation Technique in their school.

The group was transformed by their experience at M.U.M. They resolved at that time to turn their reservation into a Maharishi Vedic City.

Over the two years since that visit, one of the tribal leaders came to Maharishi University of Management to receive a Maharishi Award; many M.U.M. students visited the Native American school; and Raja Robert Wynne also visited the tribe. There was a wonderful exchange between Maharishi Vedic City, Maharishi University of Management, and these Native Americans.

Dr Roth said that during this visit to Nebraska, they 'had the same experience that Dr Lynch had in Brazil—there was no resistance, pure consciousness was wide open. With the rise in collective consciousness through the Yogic Flyers and Vedic Pandits thrilling Total Natural Law, those people in this land that are closest to Natural Law through their culture, tradition, and lineage, are the First Nation, the first peoples, the Native Americans.'
