Dr Clarence Cormier, former Minister of Education in the government of Canada, and now the Global Minister of Administration for the Global Country of World Peace, has inspired the following achievements.
In Ottawa, Ontario, the nation’s capital, in the third week of June, teachers of Transcendental Meditation, Dr Mary Glasser and Dr Robert Mayer, began the first concrete step to bring Consciousness-Based Education to a school in Ottawa with 400 students, by teaching the Transcendental Meditation Technique to the principal and four faculty members.
Also in Ottawa, on June 11th, Dr Guy-Paul Gagne and local teachers presented the Stress-Free School programme to the Superintendent of the Ottawa School Board, with the full support of the principal of the school adopting Consciousness-Based Education who just learned Transcendental Meditation. This has great potential towards establishing Consciousness-Based Education throughout the city.
In Toronto, Ontario, five of the Montessori Schools in the city have agreed to sign the Letter of Intent to implement a Consciousness-Based Education programme in their schools with 1,000 students. This will accelerate creating coherence in this most populous area that is central to the success of Canada.
