Last year, Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.) in Fairfield, Iowa, USA hosted a weekend with three distinguished guests. This event was a great success, attracting over 1,000 visitors to the campus.

On 25-27 May of this year, the event will be featured again, with the same special guests—award-winning filmmaker, Dr David Lynch; Quantum Physicist, Dr John Hagelin of M.U.M.’s Institute of Science, Technology and Public Policy, and Minister of Science, Technology of the Global Country of World Peace; and international singer/songwriter Donovan.

The weekend will offer three days of fascinating talks, question-and-answer sessions, and entertainment. The title of this event carries the same name as Dr Lynch’s new book, ‘Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity’, and will appeal to anyone interested in Maharishi’s Consciousness-Based Education, growth in consciousness, the brain, creativity, and world peace.

His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi will address the assembly via live satellite, and all are looking forward to receiving Maharishi’s wisdom and inspiration.

Other speakers will include M.U.M. President Dr Bevan Morris, and Drs Fred Travis and Alarik Arenander talking about brain research.

Throughout this past year the media has interviewed Dr Lynch on his recent achievements. He has published his new book and had numerous book-signings and presentations in major cities throughout the United States.

His book has been well received. The Boston Globe referred to it as ‘an unexpected delight’. Dr Lynch inspires everyone by discussing the Transcendental Meditation Technique and his David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.
