As part of the implementation of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's six programmes for invincibility in every nation, South America and the Caribbean are focusing most strongly on the promotion of Maharishi’s Consciousness-Based Education. In the forefront of this incentive are the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad and Tobago, with a population of 1.3 million, who need 110 Yogic Flyers to create invincibility for their nation.

During the last few days, all 250 students and most of the staff at the Tulsi Manas Mandir, a Swaha Hindu School in Trinidad, have been receiving instruction in Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation (TM) Technique.

On the first day after they learnt the technique, many of the students said that their initial experience was one of such deep relaxation and peace, that they felt everyone should try it. In subsequent days, students reported a growing sense of well-being, a greater sense of enjoyment, more calmness, and a great feeling of peace.

There is a very peaceful environment in the classrooms that lasts throughout the day, with all 250 students, the director, and staff practising Transcendental Meditation at the same time. As the days and weeks pass, this effect of peace will continue to build, and spread its influence beyond the classroom and the school, to the whole nation.

A second school in Trinidad and Tobago already practising TM is about to begin the advanced TM-Sidhi Programme with Yogic Flying. Then, soon the Tulsi Manas Mandir will be ready to begin the advanced programme with Yogic Flying also. By that time, Trinidad and Tobago will have far exceeded their Super-Radiance requirement, and will become a lighthouse for the nation and the whole Caribbean.

But Trinidad and Tobago does not plan to stop there. A sponsor has offered some very fine land for an Invincibility School, Vedic Medical College and housing complex, with 100 acres for Vedic Organic Agriculture, fulfiling all six of Maharishi's programmes for invincibility in one stroke.
