Dr Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America, reported on 3 August 2007 that Bolivia has achieved more than the number of Yogic Flyers required to crown the country with invincibility.
Bolivia is located at the heart of South America, at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of the continent. It has a population of 10 million and is thousands of metres above sea level.
According to the substantial body of sociological evidence on the group practice of Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying, a group of 300 Yogic Flyers would be enough to raise the national consciousness of Bolivia to a state of invincibility, making it impervious to negativity, and ensuring its peace and prosperity.
Raja Luis explained that this number has been achieved —and exceeded—by the schools in Bolivia. The schools are proud to practise this Vedic technology twice a day to create national invincibility. The largest school, Colegio Nacional Mixto Litoral, at Santiago del Machaca, has had a total of around 300 pupils, staff, and teachers practising Transcendental Meditation for two to three months. These have now received instruction in the TM-Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying.
Others, at Col. Nacional Anufani and Colegio Nacional Huaripujo bring the total number of Yogic Flyers in Bolivia to almost 500. The timing of the practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Programme is synchronised between schools, for maximum effect.
In addition to this practical Vedic technology, a period of Total Knowledge and the Science of Creative Intelligence has been introduced at the secondary level. This provides the knowledge that underlies the practice, and gives a vision of possibilities through Consciousness-Based Education. ‘This knowledge’, Raja Luis reported, ‘has really taken root in the community.’
'Guru Purnima Day, the full-moon of July dedicated to the Tradition of Vedic Masters, the most ancient tradition of Total Knowledge on earth, was special cause for celebration here in Bolivia, and the national leaders of the Global Country of World Peace, together with the local community, laid a foundation stone for a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility. This will be constructed on five hectares of land donated by the Mayor of Santiago de Machaca. The first two storeys of the building will be a purpose-built Maharishi Invincibility School.
'Founder of Invincibility for Bolivia, Fernando Zubieta, presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony, and a number of local dignitaries participated. Dr Pedro Ojeda, Founder of Invincibility in Paraguay, who provided the instruction in the TM-Sidhi programme in Bolivia, was also in attendance. The Principal and pupils of Santiago del Machaca (Escuela Litoral) School also took part, and Nacional Anufani and Huaripujo schools held simultaneous celebrations.
‘In Bolivia, the dreams of yesterday are now fulfilled,’ Raja Luis concluded.
