From October through November 2007, Dr. Bevan Morris, President of Maharishi University of Management and Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace; Dr. John Hagelin, Raja (Administrator) of Invincible America for the Global Country of World Peace; and Dr. David Lynch, renouned film-maker, conducted a tour which began by Dr. Lynch on 1 October in the Middle-East and traversed 14 countries of Europe.
In the United Kingdom, folk musician Donovan participated in the tour and founded Invincible Donovan University in Scotland. In 15 countries foundation stones for Maharishi Towers of Invincibility were laid, and Heads of State, leaders of society, and thousands of students were introduced to the Master Key of Total Knowledge and Invincibility for their nations—the practice of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi Program, including Yogic Flying. Millions of people, who read the press articles which resulted, learned about Maharishi's Technologies of Consciousness.
Following is an article from the Office of the US Peace Government, documenting the tour in Bulgaria:
The Global Invincibility delegation traveled to Bulgaria last week, receiving an enthusiastic welcome from the public and extensive media coverage as they continued their European tour.
On November 8th, Dr. David Lynch, Dr. Bevan Morris, Dr. John Hagelin, and other members of the team arrived in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria, to launch the Invincible Bulgaria University. They were greeted with roses from Donka Hodjeva, national leader of Maharishi's worldwide Movement and “Mother of Bulgaria,” and the following morning Dr. Lynch gave an excellent interview on national television that resulted in an outpouring of calls and requests for more interviews.
That afternoon, the team gave a press conference introducing Invincible Bulgaria University. This news conference was one of the biggest ever in Bulgaria, with fifty news organizations and all the country’s major television stations represented. After the conference, Dr. Lynch gave another excellent interview for national radio
“In Bulgaria, we saturated the press,” said Dr. Hagelin. “We described Invincible Bulgaria University as an unprecedented breakthrough in the field of education that brings the total development of the human brain for enlightenment to every student and invincibility for every country. The coverage was extraordinary, and the press questions were the most open, deferential, and courteous of any place so far.”
After the press conference, the team signed the Resolution for Invincible Bulgaria University and raised the university flag in Sofia. The ceremony included beautiful Bulgarian traditional music to celebrate the signing.
Next the team gave a public lecture attended by over 500 people, mostly students and young people, who asked Dr. Lynch very profound and beautiful questions. Dr. Lynch responded very generously, pouring out the totality of this knowledge for the audience.
In the evening, Dr. Lynch appeared on another national television program on the main Bulgarian network. He was interviewed by one of the most prominent Bulgarian journalists and by the head of the Bulgarian Parliament—and almost all the questions were about the Transcendental Meditation program, peace, and national invincibility.
On Saturday, November 10th, after more press interviews, Dr. Lynch attended a special ceremony at the Bulgarian National Academy of Theater and Film Arts, where he received an honorary doctoral degree. This ceremony was also heavily covered by the press.
The team then left for Vienna, Austria, with great appreciation for the Mother of Bulgaria, who had taken care of them so well and had organized such an incredibly successful series of events. After their visit to Austria, they will travel to Germany, Portugal, and France to conclude the tour.
