In her role as editor, Dr. Schmidt-Wilk establishes editorial policy, recruits associate editors and peer reviewers, manages the flow of submissions, builds issues, and writes editorials.
"Jane has developed a national reputation through her work as editor of the Journal of Management Education," said Dr. Scott Herriott, MUM professor of management. "She is an extraordinary ambassador for Maharishi University of Management within the American business professoriate."
At MUM, Dr. Schmidt-Wilk is the Director of the Center for Management Research dedicated to researching the effects of Maharishi's technologies on individual and organizational performance. She was lead editor of a 500-page volume titled "Applications of Maharishi Vedic Science Honoring the Life Work of Charles N. Alexander, Ph.D.," published in 2005 in the Journal of Social Behavior and Personality.
"I love the approach of Consciousness-Based Education," Dr. Schmidt-Wilk said. "I love teaching management in light of the managing intelligence of Nature that is present within us all."
