Maharishi University of Management (MUM) alumnus Adam Hammes, a 2006 graduate of the MBA in sustainability, has recently published an ebook on Amazon titled Stress-Free Sustainability: Leverage Your Emotions, Avoid Burnout, and Influence Anyone.
The 136-page book is aimed at those who champion causes and who may be suffering from what Mr. Hammes calls "the exhaustion of advocacy."
After a successful corporate position as manager of sustainability at Kum & Go, a Midwestern convenience store chain, in which he facilitated the company's corporate sustainability strategy, Mr. Hammes has shifted his focus to coaching sustainability professionals around the world and speaking at conferences on stress-free sustainability.
As a consultant working at Proxymity, an independent strategic consulting firm in Des Moines, he also helps businesses become more sustainable.
The book is oriented toward helping those who seek to move, inspire, and transform their communities by offering them stories, concepts, and techniques.
