Maharishi University of Management has been announced as a recipient of the Silver Level Student Actions Awards for the 2014 fall semester.
The myActions award honors undergraduate schools whose students demonstrate leadership, momentum, and impact of green, caring, and healthy actions.
Silver Level schools have student leaders committed to student and group activation across campus through focused challenges and delivering on impact targets.
A total of 87 schools were recently recognized for excellence during the fall 2014 semester.
The complete list is available on the myActions website. Their website says, "Students across the globe are demonstrating a new generation of leadership which includes a balance of real world and digital activation to help move students from curious to committed global citizens, making choices today to create a better tomorrow. The approach is authentic and the movement is gaining momentum. . . .
"Every school recognized in the 2014 Fall Summary supports student engagement through an array of existing programs, classes, events and student organizations focused on sustainability, compassion and well being. Progressive student leaders have developed creative paths to raise awareness, activate and engage students. We have identified three stages of activity and understanding from which each student interacts: Curious, Casual and Committed."
