A second, expanded edition of The Supreme Awakening by Maharishi University of Management Executive Vice-President Craig Pearson has recently been published. Dr. Pearson holds a PhD in Maharishi Vedic Science and based his doctoral dissertation on the research he did for this book. He is also the author of The Complete Book of Yogic Flying.
The book features descriptions of experiences of higher states of consciousness from well known people throughout history. This edition adds more experiences, including Dag Hammarsköld (the great Secretary-General of the United Nations), Morihei Ueshiba (the founder of the martial art known as aikido), and Eckhart Tolle (the modern writer and teacher), and more.
It also includes an interview with a person who learned the Transcendental Meditation technique as a young man and who, after years of practice, suddenly began experiencing pure consciousness all the time, along with waking, dreaming, and sleeping—and his consciousness continued developing from there.
The effortless technique of Transcendental Meditation is a practical method that anyone can use to cultivate these remarkable experiences and enjoy the unparalleled benefits.
The book is available from MUM Press or Amazon.
